	Strong Wind Signal No.3: Strong wind is expected and will persist. Public transportation operates normally. All kindergartens and schools for handicapped are closed. Other school schedules remain normal.
	Gale or Storm Signal No. 8: Sustained wind speed: 63-117 km/h, gusts speed:  180 km/h Ferry services are suspended at short notice and most land transport comes to a standstill. All schools are closed. Workers should leave working places.
	Increasing Gale or Storm Signal No. 9: Gale or storm force wind is increasing or expected to increase significantly in strength. Students and those who work in office should stay homes.
	Hurricane Signal No. 10: Sustained wind speed: 118 km/h, gusts speed: above 220 km/h The public should stay homes or stay under cover.
	Amber Rainstorm Signal: Heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall over Hong Kong (above 30 mm/hour). All schools and transportation operate normally, while the public should pay attention to the coming weather changes.
	Red Rainstorm Signal: Heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Hong Kong (above 50 mm/hour), and is likely to continue. People working indoors should remain on duty.
	Black Rainstorm Signal: Very heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Hong Kong (above 70 mm/hour), and is likely to continue. Stay indoors, take shelter in a safe place, or go to the special temporary shelters opened by the Home Affairs Department until the heavy rain has passed.
